About Us

We are a veteran owned and operated automotive repair shop based out of Denham Springs Louisiana. Starting in 2021 Instarice Customs started as a side job/hobby for me. Working on friends cars and trucks, both fixing and modifying them. It started growing into a real business and spread to their friends, then to local Facebook pages. May of 2023 is the point where I went full time, only doing Instarice Customs from my house along with doing mobile jobs. Building a solid reputation along with developing relationships with vendors and customers, I got to a point where a shop was needed. The big leap into our current location happened in April of 2025. Opening a lot of doors and continuing to grow we have gotten to a full team making the dream of a quality shop a reality. 

Cars are an outlet for us like they are for many people. We enjoy fixing things and keeping them going. We get excited doing cool builds because no two vehicles are the same. 

The name does have an origin story. In 2016 there was a large flood that affected numerous families in South Louisiana. In that flood, along with my house, I had 3 Hyundai Tiburons that flooded. After insurance totaled one I took the other 2, which were both modified, and pieced them together to make 1 really cool one. Once the car was back on the road a friend of mine said "Oh, so it's like instarice?" While I was confused I asked what he meant. The response I got was "Well, you just add water and it's fast" while it was a joke, it was also catchy. After calling the car instarice for a while until I went with a different theme, I eventually got to wanting to start doing some cool projects beyond my own and thus Instarice Customs was born.
